Maths

Room 4 has done some maths over the weeks like, beat the clock!, prototec and individual maths. My 

favourite maths was beat the clock, because I didn't know that I could do my 3’s, my 4’s, my 8’s and my 9’s, I would say that I enjoy doing beat the clock 1’st prototec 2’nd and individual maths 3’rd.

Music

Today Room 4 went to music, we were playing the violin we were playing pizzicato and after we played a new song, Fran torte us that from using pizzicato she tote us the song with the violin, it was a lovely experience, my favourite part was the new song. Next we played with the bow we tried the new song using the bow and man was it fun, then we packed the violins back in there case and headed back to Room 4.

Being in room 3 with Whaea Kelsi

When the year 6’s went to camp the year 5’s went into room 3. Our teacher was Whaea Kelsi, we were having so much fun.

We did some marble art, we used trays and put news paper in them, then we put spear pieces of paper in the trays, then we got different colours of paint and splotched little dots on the paper, after that we got a marble and rolled it around, then it created some crazy lines that were different colours.

The next day when we got back to school, our marble art was dry. Then we got our marble art and cut them out into our nick names or our real name. Then we stuck them onto a blank peace of paper. 

The next day after that the year 6’s came back for lunch and stayed, after that the year 6’s went home.

In lockdown we had morning meetings, we did the morning roll, we still saw each other in are meetings, we also did the Tuku Mihi. In the morning we had to get up at 9.00. Our class online meeting started at 9.30, but the cool thing was that we could eat any time. The thing I missed about school was my friends and playing tag, the other thing that changed was that we have to sanitise are hands and give each other more space, and when we were at home we get to read lots of are websites and lots of blogging. My favourite thing was my LEGO building.

 This is my necklace I made. It has a green and purple charm with pink and green beads. I got a chain that has not been used,I threaded the charm onto the chain and then the beads,and this is what it looks like.

These are my pet fish, I have 11 of them I have got a BIG one named Goldie, she is six years old, you cant see her because she is hiding under the rock. By Brooke.R

The girl and the giraffe

 She knew it was going to be hard because they were as close as the sun and moon. They were walking to the Savannah Lakes where she was going to let the giraffe go. The giraffe had a pink and white marshmallow-looking leash. The girl had on a black bright tutu  which was swaying in the wind. She walked along as quiet as a mouse. When she let the giraffe go in the Savannah Lakes she was so sad. Her teardrops fell like rain down her face. It was looked like she was in the deep cold sea drowning.

In The Holidays

I'm at the Olympics, I got an email saying ‘’we want you to be on the team and preform your gymnastics’’. I got a gold medal and I felt amazing when the medal went over my head. I nearly exploded with joy, I was so excited, I screamed so I had to do a BACKBEND! Then a FLIP! I felt so good, I was beaming like I was over the moon.

 

In The Holiday's

 In the holiday’s I watched a movie with my family, Ethan,dad, and mum, then my bird died, so I had a bubble bath to calm my self down, but I slipped and sprained my arm, when that happened we looked at getting a dog, but we wanted to get a frenchy, witch is nearly born across the hill in a month’s time. So we were thinking about getting one, so the next day we went to Mitchill’s post, who is my cousin who died, me and my cousin Pāora built a fort, out of anything that was around us. Then we went home and played, we built another fort out of pillow’s, so we had some chip’s, then Pāora went home. The next day I went to the wellington zoo.

My Birthday

In the holidays, I had my birthday it was so fun, I had five friends Me and my brother we had a Balloon fight, we were running around the house. Then my friends arrived Lily Mia Brelle, Kiara. Me and my best friends Lily Kiara Brelle Mia. We had a disco, in the garage then we had a party I opened my present I got a warehouse voucher from Kiara.I got a unicorn pug book,panda sanitiser (blossom pink) that was from Brelle. Lily got me LOTS! Of presents I can’t mention much, but I can say one thing that she got me, Lily got me soft clay. Mia got me earrings They were dolphins stars and rainbows.
